The main entrance to the Golan Heights along Highway 91.
Total size of the Site – 320,000 m².
Background:
For years driving along Highway 91 meant driving between minefield fences on both sides of the Road. INMAA and the local municipality decided that a boundary area of 100 meters from both sides of the road needs to be cleared and remove the eminent danger from pedestrians and hikers.
Mission:
The task required to break through a lane in the rocky mountainous terrain parallel to the road at a distance of 100 meters from the Highway. Clear the lane from all risks, perform technical Survey on the uncharted fields in order to identify the risks and classify the grounds and finally to clear up the land.
SOPs:
Technical Survey, Manual and Mechanical Demining.

In total over 6 Months of operation spread from 2017-2019

Thousands of mines including AT-MK-2, mines and AP– PPMIBA, PPMISR, APID 47 mines.
